Tears, my best friend.

When you see someone crying and you hug them knowing that they are stronger than they will ever be after this incident.
You don't cry.
You don't cry because you have cried enough.
You have been affected by everything,
you have been torn,
you have been hacked by reality,
you have been betrayed,
you have been hurt,
you have been loved,
you have been happy,
you have faced the impossible,
you have faced what you thought was possible to find out it was impossible,
you have lived.
You don't cry because there is nothing new.
 Everything is on repeat.
You see others cry and tell yourself "I know how that feels" and you walk away.
You can't help them.
The tears will do the job.
Tears are but a medium that drags all sorrow away.
You go back to reality,
you're hugging someone,
that someone wonders why you don't cry anymore.
He/She realises that you've been through enough to know that everything is going to be alright and if it isn't,
you will get through it eventually.
You, who was the one who cried all the time in the past became the one to support others in the future.
You wanted this.
You foresaw this.
You knew what would come in the long run.
And when your emotion starts to rain again,
you will know that it will be worth it because crying isn't a sign of weakness,
it is a sign of the body growing and allowing the medium that carries your emotion to be removed from the body.
Until then, you support till you need to be supported once again.
